Clermont-Ferrand film market offering 4 Iran titles

Iran’s IIDCYA is offering 4 new short animations at the Clermont-Ferrand film market in France.

Iran’s Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) has been offering four new short animations at the Clermont-Ferrand film market in France.

More than 3,600 professionals from 35 countries are presenting their productions at the 35th Clermont-Ferrand film market.

The 2020 edition of the market is also hosting Iran’s IIDCYA as the country’s sole representative at the event.

The new Iranian offerings include ‘The 11th Step’ by Maryam Kashkoulinia, 'Autumn Winds, Spring Winds, and Two Doves’ by Sadeq Javadi, ‘Crab’ by Shiva Sadeq-Asadi, and ‘With What?’ by Mahin Javaherian.

The Iranian booth is also presenting some older titles, including ‘The Cycling Wind’ by Nazanin Sobhan-Sarbandi, ‘Am I a Wolf?’ by Amir-Houshang Moeen, ‘The Dog That Was Ill’ by Parvin Tajvid, ‘Fisherman and the Spring’ by Hassan Soltani, ‘Hero’ by Kianoush Abedi, ‘Lomo’s Scary Night’ by Sareh Shafieepour, ‘Wish I Had a Brother’ by Nahid Shamsdoust, and ‘Golden Topknot’ by Mahin Javaherian.

The Clermont-Ferrand film market is a side event of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, which is considered the second largest film festival in France after the Cannes, in terms of audience and professional attendance.

The 35th edition of the Clermont-Ferrand film market has been slated for February 2-7, 2020 in the French city of Clermont-Ferrand.
